I have spent the last seven months spreading the word about the dashboard to targeted local businesses, organizations and state construction projects.
PR efforts:
- UDOT has tweeted about the Dashboard and many followers have requested the application for their website with the tweet content and schedule I have provided them.
- Demo site (see below)
- Partnership with UDOT construction projects
- News release being distributed the end of November 2011 (sample to be posted).
- Exposure at targeted events: IAP2 training event and the 2010 UDOT Engineering Conference.
28 presentations have been given to business and organizations across the Wasatch Front. More than double that have requested the dashboard to put on their business' homepage.
